Wherever God’s people are found, there is music and singing: songs of joy and celebration, of salvation and remembrance, even songs of sadness and lament.

The good news about Jesus gives his followers every reason to sing and make music, and it’s no different here at Christ Church Fulwood.

From contemporary to classical, we’re committed to using a wide variety of music to help us bring heartfelt praise and thanks to our God, and biblical teaching and encouragement to one another to help the word of Christ dwell richly as we gather each Sunday. The ‘Music Ministry Family’ is made up of five different parts...

  1. Contemporary bands
  2. Choir
  3. Orchestra
  4. PA and AV Teams
  5. Organists

With members drawn from a wide variety of ages and stages we work hard to lead our church family in sung worship with excellence and integrity, commending the gospel of the Lord Jesus in all we do.

We greatly value musical variety (find out why), carefully choose all that we sing to keep the word of God at the centre (find out how), and want to respond in praise and worship to God with head and heart together.

Ben joined the team at Fulwood in September 2019, but is no stranger to Sheffield, having spent a number of years as part of this church family in the past. He’s glad to be back on British soil after training in the States for a few years. When not making music, he enjoys travelling, good food, and the great outdoors.
