Fulwood Bible Training takes place on Thursdays at Christ Church Fulwood, for ten weeks a term, three terms a year. The training year begins at the end of September and ends in July.

Dates for 2017-2018

Autumn term: 21 September—30 November (Half term: 2 November)

Spring term: 18 January—29 March (Half term: 22 February)

Summer term: 26 April—5 July (Half term: 31 May)

The Training Day

The day runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Students bring their own lunch.

We study two whole books across a term: a book from the OT and a book from the NT.

The first session of the morning and afternoon will tend to focus on larger sections of a book, and to be led from the front.  Presentations or Bible studies led by students are on shorter selected passages, from the section of the book covered in the main session the week before.

Across the year

Across the course as a whole, we aim to cover all the major biblical genres, on a two year rolling program. The year 2017-18 beginning this September is year two in the cycle, but it is possible to join the course at any point (even any term). Some people come for just a morning or an afternoon. In autumn term of 2017 we shall be studying Exodus in the mornings and John in the afternoons.
