“It’s really good, the games are fun and talking about God is good” Oliver age 10

Both 9.15 and 11.00 services on a Sunday run children’s groups. Children begin in the main service with their families and then come out to the church centre to their groups. (During the summer holidays there is one morning service at 10.30am, with provsion for children aged 0-11.) Foundation stage - Y2 children head into the ‘back room’ of the Preschool Hub, while Y3-6 children go to the Lounge, for age-appropriate teaching, where learning from the Bible is combined with games, craft, songs and the chance to chat in small groups.

The groups split as follows:

  • Baby Crèche
  • Toddler Crèche
  • Foundation Stage 1- Y2 (with different age small groups)
  • Years 3-6 (with different age small groups)
  • ‘Smilers’ - for children with learning difficulties (9.15 am only)

If you are new just come to the service in church and follow the crowd when people leave. There is always someone in the church centre directing people to the right place.

If you’d like to find out more about anything to do with children’s activities at Christ Church Fulwood, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
