Playgroup

Playgroup is a place to make friends, have fun, learn and explore independently for 3 and 4 year olds. We believe all children are made in the image of God and treat them accordingly (with loving care and respect). 

We have close links with the community and local schools and invite lots of visitors to the playgroup, including Doctors, Nurses, Firemen or Police. There are up to 4 morning sessions available, run by experienced, mature, permanent & qualified staff with a low ratio of adult:children. SENCO for early intervention providing 1:1 support is available if necessary.

Less formal, play-based learning is encouraged and children are allowed to develop at their own pace. We have a good outdoor area providing equipment and opportunities in all areas of learning. Places are available until children reach 5 years old if preferred. 

We have an excellent partnership with parents and carers and relationships are developed through informal feedback daily. Parents/Carers are welcomed to help on a rota basis and children’s records are available on request. Our Playgroup is non-profit making organisation.
